AED Program Management and On-site Maintenance Services

Early Access Defibrillation              

The American Heart strongly encourages business and public facilities to establish Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programs to increase the chances of survival for people with heart-related emergencies. With proper emergency response training and an emergency plan, an AED could save the life of a co-worker, friend, family member, or stranger.

Public Access to Defibrillation (PAD) Programs

Public access to defibrillation (PAD) means making AEDs available in public and/or private places where large numbers of people gather, or where people who are at high risk for heart attacks live.

All 50 States have Good Samaritan Laws. These laws provide limited immunity for the company or facility that acquires the AED(s), the people providing training, and the person(s) who use the AED.

AED Service and Maintenance Program.
 
This service includes:

     ·         Periodic physical and system inspection of your AED's at your facilities.
     ·         AED tracking: AED serial numbers will be documented/verified along with the location of the AED's.
     ·         Software upgrades as required.
     ·         Identification and replacement of expiring supplies.
     ·         Battery system inspection and replacement as needed.
     ·         AED trade in program available for discontinued or out of warranty AED's.
     ·         Maintain a list of trained personnel and expected responders.
     ·         Establishment/Maintenance of Medical Emergency Response Plan for CPR and AED use.
     ·         Post Cardiac event reporting and procedures.
